Meet Stan Newman

Stan Newman has forty years continuous experience in sales and management in the real estate industry, the past thiry years as a Broker/Owner, sales associate and currently President and General Manager of RE/MAX professionals. Stan was the co-founder and introduced the RE/MAX concept to the Winnipeg marketplace in 1983. Over the initial 2 year period Stan and his partners developed and expanded RE/MAX to 6 office locations, building them into successful operations by recruiting top sales people with proven performance records. Stan today retains ownership of RE/MAX professionals at 1601 Buffalo Place:

Sales associates that work at this office are now Stan's clients. His responsibility is to ensure they get the proper training and motivation to reach their full potential.

RE/MAX became Winnipeg's #1 real estate company in 1987, a position it still currently enjoys with a 34% market share. This exceeds the next three competitors combined. RE/MAX has grown from 4 sales associates in 1983 to its current number of approximately 300+ Sales Associates overall.

Stan retired from active sales in May, 2001 to become what is now RE/MAX professionals and oversees the operation of the entire company. Before retirement from sales, his personal sales consistently averaged over 100 homes per year, compared to the Winnipeg Real Estate Board average per person sales volume of 7 homes.

Stan is a developer and was part owner of “River Rock on the Seine” condominium development. He is owner of a property management company, Rosedale Property Management, and is also President of Mid-Life Consultants, which is an investment company specializing in creating portfolios for real estate investment purposes. This includes consulting and assisting new investors in securing solid real estate investments for long tern return.
